Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 cup yellow onion, peeled and sliced
1 cup white wine
1 jar TRUFF Spicy Marinara Sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 lbs. raw mussels, rinsed
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
2-4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Garlic bread or crostini, for dipping

The secret ingredient to our mussels marinara is TRUFF Spicy Marinara Sauce. The robust flavor profile of this sauce, which includes ripe tomatoes, delicate herbs, and a generous amount of red chili peppers, pairs perfectly with the buttery flavor of mussels.
Whether you choose to serve this dish with cooked pasta, or a side of garlic bread, you will create a delicious, flavorful meal.
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a pot.
Add the garlic and onion, and sauté for three minutes.
Deglaze the pot with white wine, stir to combine with the veggies, and bring to a simmer.
Simmer for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add TRUFF Spicy Marinara Sauce and lemon juice to the pot, whisk to combine, and bring to a simmer.
Add mussels, gently stir to combine, and reduce heat.
Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until all the mussels have opened and are cooked through.
Divide mussels and sauce between bowls and sprinkle with parsley and grated parmesan cheese.
Serve with garlic bread on the side for dipping.
