Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Add onion and sauté for five minutes or until soft.
Add TRUFF Marinara Sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, and smoked paprika, stir to combine, and bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, pat the brisket dry with paper towels, and trim any areas with excess fat.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Preheat your grill to medium heat.
Place the seasoned brisket, fat-side down, on the grill grates.
Grill the brisket for five to eight minutes per side or until grill marks form.
Remove from the grill and transfer to a roasting pan.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place the cooled BBQ sauce in a blender and blend until smooth.
Coat or brush the brisket with half of the BBQ sauce.
Add hot water and bouillon to the remaining BBQ sauce, return to the blender, and pulse until combined.
Pour that mixture into the bottom of the roasting pan.
Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and place in the oven.
Roast for three hours or until the brisket is tender.
Remove from the oven and set aside to rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
