2 thick sliced, bone-in, ribeye steaks

1 teaspoon TRUFF Black Truffle Salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil

1 stick unsalted butter, sliced into tablespoon portions

2 sprigs rosemary

2 sprigs thyme

Truffle & Butter Seared Steak

Have you always wanted to recreate a perfectly seared, restaurant quality steak at home? Look no further than this flavorful truffle butter steak recipe!

A thick cut steak with a buttery sear is always great, but really elevates this dish is the addition of our aromatic TRUFF Black Truffle Salt. Garnish with fresh thyme and rosemary and enjoy!

Instructions

  1. Sandwich steaks between sheets of paper towels and set aside to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  2. Season steaks with TRUFF Black Truffle Salt and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in an extra large skillet over high heat.
  4. Once heated, add the steaks to the skillet.
  5. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side or until thoroughly seared.
  6. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  7. Reduce heat, add butter to the skillet and melt.
  8. Once melted, add herbs and sauté until fragrant.
  9. Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sizzling butter over the steaks, cooking until desired doneness has been reached.
    1. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
