Ingredients

2 tbsp, olive oil

1 lb., raw, sweet or spicy Italian sausage

1/2 cup, red onion, peeled and diced

1/2 cup, green bell pepper, seeded and diced

4 garlic cloves, peeled and minced

1/2 tsp, salt

1 lb. Pasta shells, cooked, drained, rinsed

1 jar TRUFF Arrabbiata Sauce

1/4 cup diced pepperoni

1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella

1/4 cup sliced pepperoni

1-2 tablespoons chopped basil

No supreme-pizza ingredients are left behind with this pasta bake; Italian sausage, pepperoni, onions, bell peppers, and garlic are all present and accounted for. Take this bake to the next level using our TRUFF Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce. The perfect blend of tomatoes, spice, and of course black truffles will make this dish unlike any other!

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Once the oil is hot, crumble sausage into the skillet.
  4. Sear for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  5. Reduce heat to medium, add the onion, bell pepper, garlic and salt.
  6. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  7. Remove from the heat and transfer to a large bowl.
  8. Add pasta, TRUFF Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce, and diced pepperoni to the bowl, and stir to combine.
  9. Transfer the pasta mix to a lightly greased casserole dish.
    1. Top the noodles with mozzarella, pepperoni slices, peppers, and onions.
    2. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
    3. Remove the foil and continue to bake until the cheese has melted for about 10-15 minutes.
    4. Garnish with chopped basil before serving.
